PTFA

At SJS we're very lucky to have such a great team on the PTFA. Every year they organise our Christmas and Summer Fairs to raise funds for extra resources for the children at school to enjoy. In addition, they work tirelessly throughout the year to organise and run a fun all year-round programme of fundraising events for the pupils and their families, such as:

Movie Nights
Scrambled Carrots
Christmas Shop
Mothers’ Day Shop
Fathers’ Day Shop
Quiz Nights

The PTFA also buys all the Home School Diaries and Year 6 Leavers’ Gifts.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to the team who, over the past two years, have contributed towards the cost of new furniture and books for the library, composite benches for the playground, new board games and puzzles for each class, plus much more!

We would love you to join in and get involved by giving as much or a little time as you can spare.

Our Values

At Sandwich Junior School, the pupils and staff uphold our Core Values, which are at the centre of our school ethos and all that we do. They were first established by the pupils of our school, who chose specific animals that they felt represented the values and attitudes they should show every day, at school and at home:

We always try our best – showing resilience, we never give up. We are always striving to reach the top and take risks with learning, as that is when we make our biggest leaps forward.

When children enjoy their learning, they will achieve more.
