School Council

The School Council's first task of the new academic year was for our Harvest Festival. Just like last year, we are going to help Deal Foodbank (a very dedicated and worthy charity that supports people and families in need), by encouraging all the pupils, adults and parents to donate as much as possible to help our local community - and wider Wolf Pack.

The School Council members created posters to advertise the Harvest Festival, which were then displayed around the school.

The School Council (along with Miss Smith) have helped to raise the awareness of Road Safety as part of Road Safety Week which the entire school took part in. School Councillors spoke to their classes and held an informative assembly. At the end of the week, the entire school took part in a 'Be Bright, Be Seen' dress-up day which the School Council helped to collaborate and later this featured in the SJS Visual Media magazine.

Every year, pupils vote for a new member of their School Council; someone who is responsible, reliable and passionate about helping our Wolf Pack. This year's team includes:

Reuben, Sophie, Freddie, Sophia, Lydia, Euann, Ruby and Cameron.
